Having this on-tap at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. As this is a white/albino stout, this beer draws a clear, medium amber copper color. Much darker in color than all other white/abino stouts I've had. Has a white head that's about half an inch thick when drawn and served to me that settles eventually to some small, spotty cluster swirls of foam and a thick ring lining the inside of the glass. Decent lacing here too. Aromas of toasted, bready caramel malt sweetness along with a definite nutmeg and slight chocolate notes. The taste is pretty much the same, with bready, somewhat toasted, caramel malt sweetness and a. I've nutmeg presence. Rounded out with a bit of earthy and slightly piney hops. Has a somewhat crisp, yet smooth medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish, and the nutmeg really hangs around in the aftertaste for awhile in a way that I like. A good beer here.
