80 IBU. Big and bold in every way. Strong malt and hop flavors, high bitterness, and a full mouthfeel.

Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. This beer draws a clear, medium to dark copper color with a very slightly tan/off-white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface along with good lacing. Aromas of some toasted, slightly caramelized, bready malts along with song butter scotch and fruit notes. A hint of plum and apricot, followed by some herbal, grassy earthy hop notes. A very similar flavor profile, that starts off with the toasted, bready, caramel malt sweetness that’s followed by the stone fruit notes and then the herbal, grassy, earthy hop notes that provide excellent bitterness. Has a crisp, also smooth slightly chewy, full body to mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Has a dry finish and aftertaste. All of the flavors, especially the hop flavors, linger nicely on my palate for quite awhile after each step. Quite an enjoyable beer here.
