Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. This beer draws a pretty Dark brown color that does not seem interested in leading in any light. Has a slightly tan/off-white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface along with good lacing. Aromas of some toasted, bready malts with hints of caramel and chocolate sweetness that is followed by notes of plum and even a bit of Red Delicious apple. The smell is running out with a bit of dank and earthy hops. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned toasted, bready, caramel and chocolate malt sweetness along with plum and apple fruit notes and some yeasty esters That are all around it out with a Danke and earthy hub presence that gives this a bit of balance Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Head settles to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface along with good lacing. Aromas of some That are all around it out with a dank and earthy ho presence that gives the flavor profile a bit of balance. Has a crisp, also smooth, just slightly chewy and oily, medium to full body mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Has a slightly dry finish, and all of the flavors linger very nicely on my pallet in the aftertaste. A solid representation of this style! Quite tasty.
