Look:
Pours a completely hazy, opaque orange shade of yellow with a dense one finger head of white foam. Leaves great lacing, excellent head retention.
Aroma:
Non-descript nose of grapefruit and pineapple puree. Very light
Taste:
Very muddled flavors of grapefruit and mango. Kind of bland. As it warms, slight notes of apricot, but they’re very faint and almost not worth mentioning.
Feel:
Thick and creamy. Dense. Fruit smoothie like.
Overall:
Forgettable, not bad though. I love oddstory but I hate IPA's like this... nondescript citrus- bittersweet and a touch of caramel. These types of beers are just pure chaos - no rhyme or reason to anything - just throw the kitchen sink at the recipe and hope it sticks. Mundane.

Had Monkey's Heart poured from 12-oz. can, no date, into tulip pint.
Pours bright and lighter than medium-gold, with clarity and 1 and 1/2-fingers of creamy, seemingly oat-influenced, near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving chunky rings of lace down the glass. Aroma of grass off pour, then moderate juicy fruits, which continue into some florals and hop resin. Begins with carbonation and big biting hop resin, then moderate fruit, over a just barely there malt base, before a crisp, very bitter finish.
Whatever the reference to NEIPA meets West Coast IPA, this looks, smells and drinks like a straight-up Westy to me. And although a bit short in fruitiness, it is quite welcome.

I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet citrus presence throughout the drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.
