From the brewery: "We are proud to announce the Barrel Aged Sunken Cemetery Bottle Release!
This Imperial Stout was brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg, cacao, coffee and vanilla; then finished on habanero peppers and aged in Chattanooga Whiskey Barrels as a part of their 2018 Native Project."
look: Like an imp stout should. Deep dark brown. Appears nearly opaque with just a hint of cola highlights when held to light.
smell: pretty subtle but all the boxes checked. Mostly subtle milk stout notes with hints of aromatic spice. not much barrel here.
taste: much like the nose. Tastes like a milk stout with hints of spice but very little barrel.

I’m pretty sure I got an infected bottle. Look, and taste was soy sauce but the smell was pleasant. Sourness to the taste! Unfortunately drain pour for my wife and I.
