Undated 12 oz can from Tennessee.
Appearance. Hazy, pale straw colored body with a decent white head.
This has a fruity, moderately funky aroma and a more civilized and appealing flavor.

Had Golden Blackbird at Oddstory taproom on draft into willi becher.
Pours light straw-gold with 1- to 2-finger near-white head, and excellent retention, leaving splotchy rings of lace down the glass. Aromas of pilsner malt, hop spice and tangy fruit off pour, joined by some florals and perhaps a bit of ginger as warms. On tasting, begins rather malty and sweet, then big yeast spice takes over, soon joined by tangy fruit as in the aroma, before an herbally bitter, perhaps gingery, drying finish.
A rather substantial Belgian Golden Ale, maltier, spicier and crisper than typical.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip. A slightly hazy golden color with a thick white head. The foam lingered and slowly settled without completely disappearing. Pungent aromas of lemongrass, ripe bananas, dough, and floral hops. The beer was very slightly tart on the first sip with lemony notes. Bread, cracker, and subtle banana notes followed. Mild clean bitterness with a clean and dry finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall an excellent beer.
