Poured into a tulip glass. A striking light peach color on the pour, and it transformed into a bright golden color in the glass. A lively white bubbly head initially formed but quickly settled, leaving only wisps of foam on top. The aroma was bright and fruity, featuring mango, white grapes, and passion fruit, but beneath was a beautiful, slightly funky hay and straw presence. This one was quite tart on the first sip - with pineapple leading the charge - but also featuring the other fruity notes listed above. Not as funky on the palate as on the nose, but enough to provide some complexity. In addition, the oak came through on the finish. The feel was somewhat sticky and dry, if that makes sense, with lively carbonation. Overall a delicious beer that was perfect on this spring afternoon.
