I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a nearly opaque dark mahogany with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had pumpernickel malt with roast highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with rich dark bread yeast base and hints of coffee. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.
