Had Levity at the (new) Oddstory taproom on draft into Willi Becher.
Pours slightly amber, deep gold, with huge, creamy off-white head, with great retention, leaving thick rings of lace down the glass. Big orange aroma off pour, and continuing, with a little hop spice, more peach aroma and some fresh florals, and bitter herbals and finally a little mild malt as warms. On tasting, begins sweet, mild citrus, over a lot of sweet melon, which carry into a big, clean, mild grapefruit but mostly herbal bitter finish.
Complex but lovely aroma delivers a simpler West Coast take, nicely balanced between sweet fruit and clean bitterness.
