Oct. 2015, as Hansa Spesial Porter. 500 ml can. ABV is 4.6%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Moderate aroma of lightly roasted malts, hints of weak coffee and dust. Lightly roasted malts in the flavour too, hints of coffee and chocolate, dry finish. Not the greatest porter in the world, but certainly not bad.

Way too thin for a porter...more like a brown lager or something?

This beer was drunk too cold so the review might be a fair bit off!
Served from 0.5l can
A - Dark brown color with a slight amber hue. Creamy head with some brown color - head dies down after a little while.
S - Roasty, coffe, chocolate, plums. Smells really nice.
T - Initially you mostly get the obvious roasty flavors, midway through the more sweet and lightl fruit flavors are more prominent. The roasty bitterness then gradually takes over, and the finish is dominated by a fairly strong roasted bitterness
M - Medium-light body. Carbonation is about medium - I think a bit too much for this beer.
O - Pretty decent. Would personally prefer a bit less roasted flavors, less carbonation, and a bit more initial malt sweetness.
