On tap at the Lost Winds brewery tasting room.
Dark brown, perhaps a rich mahogany, with thin tan head.
Aroma is coffee heavy, which is unsurprising as this is brewed with coffee. There is also a sweet malty note and a touch of ethanol (but we'll hidden under the coffee).
Fresh roasted coffee flavor, moderately sweet with moderate bitterness (presumably from hops and coffee).
Medium/heavy mouthfeel, just right for the style. Just syrupy enough to please without being cloying.
Overall an enjoyable imperial porter, especially if you appreciate coffee. Very little wrong here.
