330 ml can, as Graff Reformator Doppelbock, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.8%. Mahogany colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel, dark dried fruits and mild spices. Flavour with the same elements, not as sweet as I feared after reading the description. Moderate bittering hops in the finish. Good beer!

Pint on draft at Thirsty Pig in Portland, Maine. In stemware.
Appearance: Sort of a solid, opaque cherry or hardwood type color. Minimal head dissipates quickly.
Aroma: Very aromatic. Cherries, brown bread, herbs. Slightly floral but also malty and faintly sweet.
Taste: A big kick of alcohol followed by sweet cherries and a malty, burnt-sugar note. Almost reminds me of a Belgian dubbel or something along those lines. Booze burn on the finish. Not painful, but there.
Mouthfeel: Booze burn, as noted, but drinkable. A sipper.
Overall: Very nice high-ABV lager. A very enjoyable find!
