I have to admit to being a little suspicious when the nose came back as pumpkin-vanilla potpourri candle, overly-perfumed and a little cloying. The look is quite nice, a pumpkin-tinged brown ale. The feel was generally smooth, though a little residual astringency at the end. The taste was not an improvement over the smell, and I felt like I was drinking the same candle I smelled. I did not finish, and most went down the drain.

Poured from the tap into a tulip. Pours deep red with a small off white head. Smells of cinnamon and sweet grain. Tastes of pumpkin and cinnamon, not overpowering but decent balance. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
