Pilsners are notoriously unforgiving, because there’s nothing to hide the flaws. This one is a gem – German Saphir hops provide fresh watermelon rind in the nose, followed by cucumber, citrus, and just a hint of sage on the palate.

32oz crowler purchased at the brewery 10-5-20 (filled 10-4-20). Opened 10-10-20.
2 finger white head. Decent retention, settles in as a solid cap.
Bright golden beer with amazing clarity. Light, wispy lacing.
Mineral and clay, along with earthy/herbal hop aromas. Whiff of light sulfur.
Melon and spice on a light pilsner malt body...unique hop-derived flavor happening here.
A cool as a cucumber vibe in the finish.
Bright entry, light body with medium carbonation. Clean and flavorful finish.
Very Good.
