De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Jugando a Avernum 5. Se ve que lo hacen bueno todo, no solo las ipa. Deliciosas notas tostadas y achocolatadas con un agradable punto lupulado que no llega al nivel de intensidad de una black ipa

Pours a pitch black coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smell is surprisingly hoppy, with a light herbal character, but also strong aromas of roasted, caramel malt, mocha and light chocolate. Taste is an intriguing balance of grassy, herbal hops and roasted, caramel malt, with notes of mocha, licorice, tobacco and a hint of dark, bitter chocolate. Finishes with a dry, medium bitterness and a hint of smoke. Somewhat watery mouthfeel with a light/medium body and lively carbonation for the style.

This reminded me a LOT of Yeti with its strong hoppy notes and pronounced, dry bitterness, which seem even more distinct. This is almost more of a Black IPA than a Stout, which is also reflected in the light mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Still quite well-balanced in its own way and quite nice if you can dig those strong hoppy notes in a Stout.

Pours pitch black with a medium sized dark brown head.

The nose is full of rost with a multi layered chocolate sweetness, enriched by mousse au chocolate and a hint of caramel.

Has a medium body with a smooth carbobation, turning a tad effervescent during the finish, creating a nice counterbalance to the prominent chocolate sweetness in this.

Tastes of toasted malts, bitter chocolate and rock sugar, tied together by a creamy mouthfeel. Turns more bitter during mid palate with herbal hops cutting through bitter chocolate, still exhibiting a glimpse of creamy caramel milk chocolate. Finishes with a sweeter toffee touch among a whiff of smoke and more roast.

Comes very well together, featuring an intriguing interplay between sweet chocolate and subtle, toasty smoke.
