Great hazy golddn colour (on tap), with sediments. Strong hoppy profile, balanced by a floral sweetness. Intense taste overall.

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus fruit, with notes of papaya and tangerine. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank and resinous hops, with tropical and citrus notes of mango, papaya, orange and tangerine, as well as hints of grassy weed and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some mango, orange and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I was very curious how well this new batch of one of their 4-year-old classics from the Black to Metal series and one of my highest rated by FrauGruber, would stack up to my nostalgia of it and I have to say: not half bad. The flavor profile is very similar to how I remembered it, probably being the first of those kinda bitter and resinous NEIPAs I've ever had long before I discovered Cloudwater. While the aroma seems a little weak here, there's a great balance of sweet tropical fruit, zesty citrus notes and bitter, resinous accents to this. There's also that slight hop burn I remember from the original batch, but it's very light and I personally don't mind it at all, to be honest.

From Decervecitas. In water cup. At Suites Albaycin aparthotel, Almuñecar. Delicious sweet background that makes you hate it has so much -completely hidden- alcohol that you cant (or shouldnt) drink it in long sips
