Canned heat indeed or more canned freshness. This greatly hopped ale brings drinkability to the rooftop with a citrusy and tropical hoppiness. Amazing juiciness.

Pours a hazy, opaque, dark yellow coloration with a small, fizzy head. Lovely, if slightly faint, smell of citrus and tropical fruit: grapefruit, tangerine, mango and papaya, doughy malt and a light grassiness. Taste is rather hop-forward, but with light doughy malt as well. Quite zesty citrus notes of grapefruit, tangerine and lime dominate, complemented nicely by lighter tropical notes of mango and papaya. There's a light, grassy dankness in the background as well, along with just a hint of pine. Finishes with medium bitterness and mild hop, turning somewhat acidic in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.
The interplay of doughy malt and zesty citrus creates a flavour here that is somewhat reminiscent of "bottermilk fresh" ice cream. One can almost taste a hint of vanilla as well, which is most likely imagination though. This is absolutely amazing for the very low ABV, with an incredible hoppiness and smooth, almost soft mouthfeel. Body is a little light and there is a very slight chalkiness to this as well, but still a tremedous achievement.
