Copenhagen 5/6 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop, A very nasty hand with burning fingers on the very metallic can.

Pours milky, hazy, golden yellow with small white head. Settles as very thin, fine layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is potent, fruity, tart and zesty. Peach and Mango sweetness. Weird odor of slightly singed rubber. Strong citric notes of Grape fruit and citrus.

Light carbonation. Smooth, soft, oily, lightly tingling texture. A little sticky.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by and balanced by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and bitter. Lingers for a while. '

Very juicy, well balanced and smooth NEIPA.

Got this one from doopie for my birthday. Cheers!

From a 440ml can into a pint glass
Best before 19 August
Double dry hopped Imperial IPA

APPEARANCE: Pours a small, thin, creamy white head with okay retention. Cloudy, opaque amber yellow with no carbonation evident. Head quickly fades to a thin wisp and clings to the glass. Splotchy wisp remains until the end and leaves touches of lacing down the glass as it empties.

SMELL: Bolder nose of mango, passion fruit, peaches, tangerine, pineapple, and plenty of tropical fruits. Some caramel notes as well. Enticing.

TASTE: Bold and flavorful. Lots of tropical fruits up front. Mango, passion fruit, pineapple and peaches make it a fruity cocktail. A bold and lingering finish of tropical pineapple, mango, passion fruit, peaches, tangerine, and some caramel and toffee sweetness as well. Flavorful and plenty of tropical goodness.

PALATE: Medium-fuller body with medium levels of carbonation. Creamy and smooth on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes slightly mouth-coating on the palate. Nice.

OVERALL: Really good stuff. Lots of good flavor and aroma and plenty of tropical character to fit the style. This is one I’d be happy to drink on a regular basis if it were readily available. Delicious through and through. Thanks again, doopie! Recommended.

Pours a hazy, deep golden amber, orange'ish coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smell is bright and hoppy, with some light biscuity malt in the background and notes of citrus/tropical fruit: grapefruit, mango, pineapple, with just a hint of white grape and grass. Taste follows the nose, with some biscuity malt in the background and hoppy, bright and juicy citrus/tropical fruit notes of grapefruit, mango and pineapple, as well as a slightly acidic white grape note, some pine and a medium grassy dankness . Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and a distinct acidity, as well as light hop bite and some white grape and tropical notes lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

Great NE style DIPA that really showcases the Enigma hops with a distinct, dry and acidic white grape note, as well as lighter citrus/tropical fruit notes and pine that all work together very well.
