Can shared @ KJUBZT tasting June 2019. Murky pale yellow colour with particles floating in it - soon to be in my mouth/between my teeth etc. Maybe fiber from the grain? White head, not much. Aroma's: dank, herbal hops and tropical (sourish) fruit). Retronasal it's is quite sweet, and dank, a bit weird. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied.

Pours a slightly cloudy, pale golden amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smell is a little subdued, with only faint notes of biscuity malt, grassy, floral hops and hints of citrus/tropical fruit. Taste follows the nose, with some sweet'ish biscuity malt upfront and rather floral, grassy hops, with notes of mango, tangerine, gooseberry and peach. Finishes with a light bitterness and some floral, grassy hops lingering in teh aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Maybe they should have called this "Dojo of Floral Soapiness" instead, it would certainly have been a more apt name. Yes, there is a certain, grassy dankness to this, which is totally overshadowed by a strong, floral, almost soapy, presence though, while the fruity notes feel muddled and meh. They should probably stop using Spalter Select in their IPAs, as both this and California Sippin exhibit a quite similar, unpleasant flavor profile.
