Pours a hazy ligt orange with fine soapy head. Started out high, but fell quickly.
Smell is juicy and tropical with notes of oranges, grapefruit, nectarines and melon ice cream.
Taste is juicy and hoppy with notes of citrus, mango, pineapple and melon. Slight sweetness with a vanilla twist and moderate bitterness. Very well balanced.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice NE IPA, the best I've had from Frau Gruber so far.

This NEIPA starts promising on the nose with lots of tropical fruit but eventually I could not drink it as it tasted and felt like drinking hop slurry. I can still feel the hop burn. Maybe this is the end of my love affair with this style.

Pours a hazy, opaque, deep golden amber, peach coloration with a medium, foamy head and some tiny floaters. Smells of light biscuity malt and an intriguing mix of citrus, tropical and orchard fruit notes, with orange and mango standing out, as well as hints of peach, white grape and red berries. Taste follows the nose, Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of light biscuity malt and sweet and juicy citrus, tropical and orchard fruit notes, with orange and mango at the forefront, as well as some peach, white grape and red berry notes and just a hint of a certain spicy, herbal dankness. Finishes with a medium bitterness, light hop bite and some fruity, spicy and herbal notes lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is quite an intriguing IPA with a somewhat unusual flavor profile from the Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Enigma hops that works out quite well though, especially with the white grape, red berry and spicy/herbal notes forming a certain white wine character that is complemented nicely by some more typical citrus/tropical notes. Very nice mouthfeel as well, good to see FrauGruber return to form.
