Copenhagen 15/2 2020. 44 cl can from Kioskh, Søndre Blvd., Kbh. V. Blank can with sticker on. Picture of astronauts exploring a new world on the sticker. They call it a New World Pale Ale.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense. Malty sweet and with some distinct citric notes. Floral with sweet caramel. Medium strong, citric bitterness. A bit acerbic. Touch of decay and fermentation.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, lightly tingling.
Flavor is fairly intense and juicy. Medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
Not exactly a New World. But a more than solid APA is quite ok.

De Beershelf. En copa Teku. Jugando a Slay the Spire. Buena, aunque le falta el punto de excelencia que uno espera de fraugruber y tiene algo mas de hop burn del deseable

Pours a hazy golden amber coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and quite juicy citrus/tropical hops, with notes of orange and passion fruit, with just a hint of white grape coming through as well. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and juicy citrus/tropical fruit notes of orange and passion fruit, as well as some white grape and a good dose of pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some white grape and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
An excellent Pale Ale with some quite vibrant hops for the style. The combination of zesty orange, sweet passion fruit and slightly acidic white grape really makes this one stand out, with a good dose of pine coming through in the aftertaste as well for an additional kick.
