Quite hazy golden colour. Very little head.
Great stuff with the Simcoe upfront. Amazingly well hoped with complex tropical fruits and citrus notes.
Nice yeast character. A bit sweet, very sessionable.
Very nice pale ale.

De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Guardando etiquetas y luego programando Gestorred2. Perfil afrutado suave pero claramente precibible y con bastante sabor y dosis justa de amargor. Feel estupendo, sedoso y muy sesionable.

Pours a hazy, golden amber coloration with a medium frothy head that soon fades to nothing. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical and citrus hops, with notes of mango, passion fruit and grapefruit, as well as just a hint of pine. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt, tropical/ citrus hops with notes of mango, passion fruit and grapefruit and just a hint of gooseberry, white pepper and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some mango, gooseberry and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A very nice NZ Pale Ale that really strikes quite a nice balance between the resinous and citrus notes of Simcoe and the dry and slightly acidic tropical and gooseberry notes of Rakau, as well as some spicy accents from Spalter Select, which all work together very well. Body and mouthfeel are a little disappointing though, especially considering the relatively high ABV for a Pale Ale. Still very enjoayble though.

A well-made APA, with its specific characteristics. Good.
