De Tercertiempocervezas. En copa Teku. Leyendo C 9th Ed. Ch5. Perfil muy intensamente frutal, con mucho cĂtrico con recuerdos a lima y cuerpo ligero pero no aguado que la hace muy bebible. Deja un largo y agradable retrogusto

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes of lime peel, lemongrass and lighter passion fruit. Taste is a good balance of light biscuity malt and citrus/tropical hops, with the quite zesty citrus notes of lime peel, lemongrass and tangerine dominating among lighter passion fruit notes and just the merest hint of herbal dankness. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some zesty citrus and lighter tropical notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.
Comparing this to the regular Stratasphere, it's a lot heavier on the zesty citrus notes, with the Wai-iti actually clearly dominating over the Strata here, although it does still come through with much lighter passion fruit and very little herbal dankness. Personally I like them both for their different and quite vibrant hop profiles, but this also suffers from the same deficiencies as Stratasphere and all of their brews recently, meaning that it really lacks that full-bodiedness and great mouthfeel that I expect from FrauGruber and has kinda been missing from their beers ever since they upped their production volume and started using their malted Barley. Hopefully this is something that they will be able to overcome as they adjust to their new setup...
