De Mikkeller. En Occidental Isla Cristina. En vaso de vino. Peculiar perfil con notas que podrían recordar a uva y melon, con un agradable dulzor inicial bien compensando con amargor final. Altamente bebible teniendo más de 8 grados

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and soft and juicy tropical/berry hops, dominated by notes of white grape and passion fruit. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and juicy tropical/berry hops, with some lighter citrus accents and notes of slightly acidic white grape, sweet and tangy passion fruit and lighter, zesty grapefruit and blueberry. Finishes with a light bitterness and some white grape and passion fruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is rather dominated by the Nelson Sauvin and, to a lesser extend, Galaxy hops, being dominated by white grape and passion fruit notes, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I would have wished for the Citra and Mosaic to come through a little more, although there are some grapefruit and blueberry accents to this as well. Mouthfeel is decent, but not great. All in all, FrauGruber seem to be bouncing back, but have not quite reached the quality of their best one-offs yet.
