Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and floral, herbal hops, with citrus/tropical notes of mango, pineapple and tangerine. Taste is a decent balance of sweet'ish biscuity malt and rather floral, slightly herbal, citrus/tropical hops, with notes of orange, tangerine mango and pineapple. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some floral hops and pineapple, tangerine accents lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This one is not for me at all, being rather sweet and floral, almost to the point of feeling soapy, while the light herbal and bitter notes fail to provide an adequate balance here, although the good bitterness in the finish at least balances out the sweetness somewhat. That distinct floral presence is undoubtedly due to the Loral hops, which is a variety that needs to go away in my personal opinion and somewhat overshadows the soft citrus and tropical accents from the Citra and Mosaic, while Cashmere adds some welcome herbal, almost spicy accents. Not a terrible beer, just not for me, while I feel that the hop balance could have could be better here, with the mouthfeel not feeling particularly impressive either.
