Pours a deep, dark, ruby red coloration with a medium, fluffy, pink head. Smells of tart and juicy black cherries. Taste is very much dominated by the slightly sweet and quite tart black cherries, with a light underlying lactic, citric acidity. Finishes with a medium/strong tartness and some black cherries lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While this is rather one-dimensional, that is to be expected of the style and, just like their other Fraugruberlicious editions, this makes for a rather enjoyable fruited Kettle Sour that feels very fresh and natural, with a great, juicy cherry character and a good balance between sweetness and tartness, although this is a bit more sour than previous editions, which I personally don't mind at all, but may be a bit much for some people.
