Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and vibrant tropical/citrus hops, with passion fruit and grapefruit standing out particularly, as well as a distinct dankness also coming through. Taste is a excellent balance of light biscuity malt and rather dank, bitter and juicy hops, with expressive, sweet tropical and zesty citrus notes of passion fruit, mango, grapefruit and lime peel, as well as a strong dankness. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some passion fruit, grapefruit and dankness lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

I absolutely love Strata hops and they come through so nicely here, with those strong passion fruit and dank notes that I could immediately tell without even knowing they were in there, while the Riwaka adds some equally distinct and quite zesty citrus notes as well, which creates a rather nice interplay of sweet and zesty characteristics, as well as a great, dank and bitter finish, with a sublime, soft and pillowy mouthfeel as well. After Rumble Riot, this finally confirms to me that FrauGruber are back, after seemingly having some issues adjusting to their new setup. Very expressive, well-defined hops, excellent balance and sublime mouthfeel, great stuff, with the ABV hardly noticeable either here.
