Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with notes of passion fruit, pineapple and grapefruit, as well as just a hint of a certain grassy/herbal note. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and bitter, slightly herbal and juicy hops, with tropical, citrus and berry notes of passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit and blueberry, with just a hint of a certain grassy dankness coming through in the aftertaste. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some passion fruit, grapefruit and grassy dankness lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A great NEIPA that seems a little heavy on the Mosaic hops, which is great, with those berry notes that you don't get from Mosaic all that often really coming through here, especially blueberry, while backed up by tropical passion fruit and pineapple notes, with lighter citrus and herbal/grassy accents, as well as a good bitterness in the finish. This really is my kind of NEIPA because it's not just straight sweet and juicy, but has some dank and bitter aspects to it as well, with a great overall balance and good mouthfeel.
