De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Jugando a Spongebob. Buen día, con un perfil lupulado que presenta cierta originalidad y el alcohol bien disimulado, resultando fácil de beber

Pours a hazy, dark orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes of tangerine, papaya and lychee, as well as hints of herbal accents. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and and fruity, slighty herbal and bitter hops, with citrus, tropical and lighter berry notes of zesty grapefruit and tangerine, lychee, papaya and blueberry, as well as just a hint of sage coming through in the aftertaste. Finishes with a medium/strong bitterness and some grapefruit, lychee and sage lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is probably my favorite FrauGruber brew in a while because you can't really tell if it's an Old School or New England IPA with its fruity, juicy and bitter, herbal characteristics and I just love that personally. While the experimental HBC 586 hops don't really seem to be bringing anything too unique to this, except perhaps for a certain lychee note, the Incognito Mosaic really seems to bring out that blueberry character of Mosaic, which doesn't always come through that much. Overall, a terrific (NE)IPA with a great balance of fruity, herbal and bitter notes, as well as a good mouthfeel, that drinks surprisingly easily for the ABV.
