Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus/tropical/berry hops, with notes of passion fruit, lime peel and blueberry. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank and resinous hops, with citrus, tropical and lighter berry notes of grapefruit, lime peel, passion fruit, pineapple and blueberry, with just a hint of spicy weed and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

While this is honestly not something that I've been saying a lot about FrauGruber lately, they have really outdone themselves with this one. Which shouldn't come as that much of a big surprise though, as their TIPAs have always been outstanding, featuring none of the deficiencies that typically plague the style, such as an overdone sweetness or intense booziness. In fact, this drinks so easily for the ABV that not in a million years would you guess it's almost 11% ABV, while the hops really pop here, with some incredibly bright, juicy, expressive and multi-faceted citrus, tropical and berry notes, perhaps even a bit of stone fruit in there, while it finishes with a good bitterness and some light dank and piney accents as well, to make things a bit more interesting. Mouthfeel is excellent as well, one of the best IPAs I've had of late and that includes Other Half.
