Pours an opaque, deep orange coloration with a small, fizzy head that soon fades to nothing. Smells of light biscuity malt and tart and fruity orange and mango notes. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and vibrant, sweet and tart, orange and mango notes, with a great underlying lactic acidity. Finishes with a medium acidity and some orange and mango lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Just like all of the previous incarnations of this series, this makes for a very enjoyable Fruited Kettle Sour that really scores with its vibrant fruitiness, perfect acidity and great balance of sweet, zesty and acidic citrus and tropical notes, with the orange standing out a bit more here, lending quite a refreshing feel to this. Overall, this makes for a very well-balanced, refreshing Kettle Sour that's perfect for the summertime. Too bad summer decided to skip most of Germany this year, but hey, this still tastes great in the pouring rain.
