Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a huge, quickly receding, foamy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with notes of passion fruit, mango grapefruit and orange. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, dank hops, with citrus and tropical notes of passion fruit, mango, grapefruit and orange, as well as some grassy weed. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and hop burn, as well as some passion fruit, orange and weed lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
The Strata and Galaxy hops really combine here to give this a full blast of that musty and slightly acidic passion fruit character, with the Strata also adding a distinct weedy dankness here, as well as some citrus notes from the Citra. While the hop character is quite vibrant and expressive, there's also a rather noticeable hop burn to this in the aftertaste, as well as a light booziness, which really isn't that bad for the ABV at all though. Overall, this makes for an enjoyable, quite expressive NEIPA with a good mouthfeel, while I could do without the rather noticeable hop burn to this though.
