De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Estudiando. Muy buena imperial IPA, sin que el alcohol afecte lo más mínimo e incluso quedándose corta. Perfil suavemente resinoso que resulta de lo más adictivo

Pours a cloudy, golden amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes oif grapefruit and mango, with just a hint of earthy accents and pine. Taste is an excellent balance of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and fruity, earthy, slightly floral, spicy and resinous hops, with citrus and tropical notes of grapefruit, tangerine, mango and lychee, as well as hints of black pepper and pine. Finishes with a medium/strong bitterness and some grapefruit, mango and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While this definitely a bit more modern than old school, it still makes for a pretty nice West Coast IPA, although not quite as good as It's So California. While it's just a tad too floral for my personal taste, I really like that earthy and spicy character in addition tio the fruity notes, while finishing with a great, resinous bitterness. The almost triple strength is hardly noticeable at all, without much sweetness coming through here either. Overall, this makes for an enjoyable, modern WCIPA with a good balance of fruity, floral and earthy, resinous notes.
