Copenhagen 19/2 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. White and green can with s faded drawing of a couple of hop flowers and FrauGrubers characteristic Rhombus-shaped black logo.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with s sweet malty odor mingling with grainy sour fumes and a solid citric streak. Sweet pale malts, bread. Lemon, fresh grass and sour grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Dry, bitter and appropriately austere.
