If you have invited friends over for a nice meal, E.C. Dahls Brown Ale will come in handy. This english style Brown Ale is an allround match to most kind of meat, it pairs nice with baked vegetables and it fits well with a not too strong cheese. Or, if you prefer, enjoy it without food, in your favourite beer glass in front of your fire place.
This Brown Ale has a fruity and malty aroma, slichtly sweet and with notes of milk chocolate. The balance between the sweetness and bitterness is what makes this such a food friendly brew. You will also find tones of dark chocolate, cocoa and dried fruit. Cheers!

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 5.9%. Clear and deep reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head, nice lacing. Moderate aroma of brown malts, brown bread and some caramel. The flavour has fairly distinct caramel, but is not too sweet. Also notes of brown bread and nuts. Low bitterness. Not bad, but not exceptional.
