look: 4.25 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 3.75
L: Had this beer on-tap at Capital Ale House - Innsbrook, poured into a pint glass. Had a golden / amber color and a slightly hazy consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A pretty good, but not great, aroma of hops, pine, citrus fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a bit of citrus fruit (lemon, in particular), some light malt notes (mostly in the finish; not a big factor), a moderate amount of hops (not overdone; surprisingly subtle), and a bit of pine (just enough to make it interesting). A solid flavor, if overly low key. Kind of old-fashioned in a way, but still not bad.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A slightly uneven, but likable IPA. Worth a look.
