Had this at the Strange Brew Festival 2018. Much like most of the ipas at the festival, this one wasn't very ipa like.
Pours a yellow color with a thin 1/4" white head (extrapolated to pint size pour). Aroma is definitely pineapple and triggers that damn song in my head. Given the coconut as well, there's now two songs in my head, something like 'if you like penis and tacos,' and then 'put the rhyme in the cocoa butt.' Or something. But the nose definitely smells tropical.
Taste, whoa, instead of hops and bitterness, you get a bunch of the sweet stuff, like, possibly the actual adjuncts? I dunno but maybe I should call Trudie and tell her I have been drinking pineapple juice. See, the cool thing about some of the proprietary hops (Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic) is they give those tropical flavors WITHOUT the sweetness. I dunno, it hid the alcohol decently, but I would prefer a middle ground approach maybe cut back on the extract adjuncts and add more hops.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
