Roses are red, violets are blue, oranges are orange. We’re reciting the obvious here, and obviously this beer is going to have to be delicious and orangey. Sit back, crack it open and enjoy some rad smells and tastes that come from the symphony of oranges and beer in a delicious milkshake.

Slightly hazy carbonated golden color. Just a slight head of white that dissipated as I typed this.
The smell of oranges, citrus and some pine hops is pleasant but does kind of remind me of some kind of pine cleaner. Interesting.
The taste is a strong orange citrus up front followed by the pine in the hops. So this is like a whole orange to me. I am getting the meat flavor up front and that pine like bitter flavor makes me think of biting into the rind. Not really getting where the "milkshake flavor is. Yet they do say oranges are orange so I look at it as more of an orange flavored IPA.
Mouth feel is actually pretty light and finishes with just a bit of stickiness that only stays briefly before washing down.
Now with all of that out of the way overall this is a good beer. The high ABV (8.2%) does not even show itself at all! The taste is good and the appearance is pleasant. The smell throws me just a bit, yet I do think it is still nice overall. I do not get where they were going with the milkshake thing. I do get the orange thing. And the mouth feel makes this a very easily drinkable beer. I feel they really have a nice balance of hops to malts as well. This thing actually works for me. Glad to have found a four pack to try with the wife. Cheers!

Doesn’t even taste like beer. Not good! Lead Dog beers are usually so much better.

The beer pours out a hazy golden orange color, with 1 finger of white head------------------ the aromas are of vanilla and orange(smells just like a orange cream sickle)------------------- the flavors are of sweet orange and vanilla(it taste just like a orange cream sickle)the beer has a medium mouthfeel with a light bitterness on the finish------------------ overall this beer was exceptional - what a damn good beer this has to be the best orange cream beer I have had------

Appearance - Hazy pour and orange in color with a white, near one finger width head. Sup-par retention results in a mostly barren surface with a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A few tiny broken lines and a spot here or there make up the lacing.
Smell - Popping the can immediately greets the nose with a strong punch of orange, before the vanilla quickly arrives to create that beautiful sweet, creamy, citrus aroma. Faint floral hop undertone.
Taste - Follows the nose. Near perfect as-expected flavor. Big-time orange character upfront and through to the finish, met by a significant amount of vanilla, resulting in an explosion of creamy orange / vanilla goodness. Hints of hop in there, but hard to pick out any discerning flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low-to-fair carbonation. Slightly creamy texture. Drinks smooth and begs for another sip. Does well to hide the 8.2%
Overall - I've had a small handful of brews that have attempted an orange creamsicle with fair success; this one absolutely blows them out of the water. It's near perfect. I'm nitpicking, but a slightly thicker mouthfeel is all this would need to make it perfect.
