New brewery for me, grabbed the hazy IPA to try them out...not quite a fail, but not that good in my opinion. Dull gold, moderate haze. Grains, woody, piney, grassy, lemon, biscuit, dry. I believe the Idaho 7 is what's coming through here, and I'm not digging it here. Lots of grainy/crackery malt underlying as well. Tastes a bit disjointed. Didn't finish the 16oz.

Here's a beer that can be found at the grocery store sometimes. Its about the only time I'll buy it, not worth it at bottle shop prices. Its serviceable. 1st review of this beer on BA.
Pours a hazy muddled color liquid. Amber, dull yellow. Does make a good 3/4" white head. Its not thick Treehouse haze. Its like chicken noodle soup lookin'. The aroma was a mild hop current. Light Mosaic and Simcoe seems to be going on, maybe Citra too. Just a light bitter orange rind sensation.
Taste keeps pushing the orange. Its not a bright Orange Julius like existence, its more of a deader, less carbonated, trub feel to the mouth feel. This beer has had a few tweeks over the years, different abvs and hops. This is the stronger (7.2%) version but it doesn't have more booziness than it should.
At the end of the day, this is worthy at those $2ish a can prices with the convenience of already doing some grocery shopping at Winco. $4 a can? Hell no. Hit the bricks.
