Appearance - Pours clear and brilliant copper in color with an off-white, half-finger width head. Sub-par retention, leads to a mostly barren surface with a thin, broken ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Slightly fruity, slightly earthy and floral, some bread and caramel sweetness, and a boozy scent to boot.
Taste - Hops start off with a bit of earth, slightly fruity and maybe even dash of floral and garlic qualities. Malts impart a slightly bready and caramel sweetness, then a boozy bite comes in on the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-to-full in body with fair carbonation. Goes down well enough before a dry, boozy finish.
Overall - Good, solid 3xIPA. It's not the most tasty or the smoothest, but it's far from bad. A little on the boozy side, but 3x IPA isn't?
