Appearance - Pours hazy and yellowish in color with a white, frothy near two-finger width head that displays decent retention before dying down to a thin, broken layer of surface suds, thickening to a ring around the edges. Solid lacing, with broken sheeting, webbing, lines and spotting found around the glass.
Smell - Strong key lime aroma, with hints of cream and vanilla.
Taste - Follows the nose. Tart, juicy key lime is abundant from start to finish, while hints of cream and vanilla ride beneath. Finish finds the key lime fade in intensity, allowing for a bit more of that sweetness to linger in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a crisp, dry and refreshing finish.
Overall -Another great milkshake DIPA by Lead Dog. My only nitpick would be that maybe the key lime is a bit too aggressive? Some people might find it too much in that regard.
