Look: Pale cloudy yellow-orange with a medium white head that has good retention.
Smell: Freshly cut orange but unfortunately rather light.
Taste: Good. Strong and tart like orange juice with just a hint of wheat in the finish.
Feel: Medium in the mouth, highly carbonated.
Overall: A solid wheat beer that I would definitely recommend.

Draft at Area 15 bar
Light pale color, hair foamy head
Nose citrus, orange Lemonade, wheat grass, little doughy wheat, hint of bubblegum, plenty of zesty citrus
Taste more citrus, lemon lime orange citrus juice, tons of citrus, juicy clementine and Valencia orange, candied orange, doughy wheat and wheat grass, little tang, light bitterness, mild sweet sticky finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, touch creamy, med carb
Overall OK, not much base wheat beer just loads of citrus but not overpowering

my first beer from these guys, never seen their stuff for sale in idaho, not sure ive ever even heard of them before now, but was excited to try this. seems to be trying to do the lost coast tangerine thing, which i get, its popular and delicious, and i think it comes close, not quite as vibrant on the fruit, but very authentic, and i like that i can taste some wheat, more balance to me in this, a cool introduction to this brewery, hey its not a hazy ipa! orange tinted pour, cloudy, short white head on it, looks just a little dense. the nose is fresh sliced orange very true to the fruit, earthy cereal wheat character popping, both seem fresh, and i like a wheat beer without much yeast to it sometimes, and this one really doesnt seem to have it, its clean but not a wit or a hefe type. the flavor is solid, a little more grainy than anticipated, but the citrus cuts it nicely, some acidity from it, just a little sweetness, its right on, very summery, quicker finishing too which is good for refreshment value. it does have a little more body than i need with these flavors, but if thats the tradeoff for the wheat taste, ill take it. carbonation could be ramped up a bit, effervescence is what this wants, but overall a solid offering for this time of year and its good enough to have me on the lookout for more beers from lead dog.
