Hazy light gold with a tall, loose head. Citrusy nose. Medium body with some funk and Belgian yeast. Pleasantly crisp and effervescent.

Appearance - Pours a hazy pale straw with three fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - citrus hops, orange peel, coriander, wheat malts, grassy and grainy aromas, spicy earthy yeast, hint of fruity esters.
Taste - Citrus hops followed quickly into the orange peel, coriander, and wheat malts. The grassy and grainy aromas, spicy earthy yeast, and hint of fruity esters finish the brew off. All flavours are mild in comparison to the aroma.
Mouthfeel - Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and dry with the hops lingering.
Overall - A refreshing witbier that is very sessionable. A good brew on this hot and muggy Cowtown evening.

473ml can - a 'dry-hopped witbier', which some mind distorting label imagery.
This beer pours a slightly hazy, bright medium golden yellow colour, with two fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and fizzy off-white head, which leaves a bit of sparsely-strewn snow rime lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.
It smells of gritty and grainy wheat malt, orange zest, a bit of musty yeastiness, muddled earthy spice notes, and some leafy, weedy, and musky floral green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery pale malt, a lesser plain wheatiness, sort of acerbic orange and generic grapefruit rind, a hint of coriander and black peppercorn spiciness, estery yeast, and more earthy, musty, and floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly active in its palate-prodding frothiness, the body an adequate middleweight, and not particularly smooth, as both the hops and the spice appear to be a tad aggressive at this particular juncture. It finishes trending dry, those same interlopers just mentioned holding court.
Overall - this comes across as what it claims to be, a hoppy witbier, however, it seems at times that the hops clash with the typical adjuncts here. I'm finding it kind of a chore to put back, even if it's quite complex, 'fraid to say. Oh well, that's just like, my opinion, man!
