Appearance - Pours a straw gold with a finger of bubbly white head.
Smell - very pungent vinous aromas upfront, bready and biscuity malts, coriander, salty aromas, earthy and floral hops, and a bit of funky earthy yeast.
Taste - vinous aromas followed by the bready and biscuity malts. The coriander, saltiness and earthy and floral hops follow next and then the funky earthy yeast makes it presence known.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes dry with the vinous aromas, coriander and salt lingering.
Overall - A refreshing gose that displays the vinous aromas well. Not too pungent with the saltiness or coriander which makes this an approachable beer.

473ml can - a 'foedre-aged Brett Gose'. Why the fuck do I keep buying this kind of thing?
This beer pours a slightly hazy, pale golden straw colour, with one finger of puffy, loosely foamy, and fizzy off-white head, which leaves zilch in the way of lace anywhere near the glass as it quickly evaporates.
It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, white saltine crackers, some muddled earthy spiciness, a bit of plain funk, some mixed pome fruitiness, and very tame earthy, musty, and floral hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery pale malt, saline solution, a musty yeastiness, coriander/clove spice, and more very, very (very) ephemeral musty, weedy, and floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is pretty much inane in its hooky-playing frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and sort of smooth, I suppose, with little getting in the way of a bland time at this particular juncture. It finishes trending dry, the general graininess kind of bleeding out.
Overall - yeah, I'm not really getting anything in the purported (big-ass) barrel or funk department, which is both a blessing and a curse, as such. It's just a generic version of the style, and adequate enough on another sunny Alberta summer evening.
