A foedre-aged brett lager brewed in collaboration with Bogside Brewing.
Appearance - Pours a hazy gold with four fingers of frothy white head that gushes over the glass.
Smell - vinous aromas, spicy brett yeast, lager aromas, grape musk, citrus, and other tropical fruits/fruits that I can't quite identify.
Taste - vinous aromas and grape musk upfront. The spicy brett yeast comes through next. The citrus and other fruits round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes tart with the vinous aromas and grape musk lingering.
Overall - A well rendered foedre aged brew. I'm just wondering where the lager elements are as the foedre elements are very predominant in this one. Otherwise, an interesting brew.
