This was a real surprise after a flight of average stouts and IPA’s.
Served in a hefty mug at the bar.
Brassy gold, sharp clarity, ample foam and lacing around the edges.
Aroma was crackery with a hint of malt sweetness, grassy hops.
Taste was lightly bitter with noble hops, grassy with a round malt base.
Smooth and crisp with a dry finish, ample carb, easy drinking and supple.
Overall this was a great sessionable lager, i’d get it again for sure.
