I tried a pint of this beer off the tapper at The Hilton Hotel lobby bar on Marquette street in downtown Minneapolis whilst there for a trade expo. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Consumed at the brewery.
Clear medium gold with 1-finger white frothy head with plenty of lacing.
Aroma is bready pils maltiness with lighter herbal noble hops. My kind of helles - unapologetically malt-forward.
Flavor is classic helles lager with bready, lightly toasty pils maltiness carrying this brew with lighter herbal, floral noble hops aroma notes. Clean and light bitterness.
Mouthfeel is also on-target with light body and crisp dry finish.
Utepils Helles is an exceptional version of the style - a classic representation with higher intensity aroma and flavor rather than the leaner style that is super-drinkable and my favorite beer of the MN trip.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a Shaker pint glass, "CANNED" date "05/23/24".
APPEARANCE: pours a clear, dark gold color with less than one-finger white head that quickly dissipated until just a ring of small bubbles remained around the rim of glass, medium carbonation, no lacing on the glass.
SMELL: this beer is faint to the nose, I can pick up some honey sweetness and bread.
TASTE: initially sweet honey and bread then a earthy hop note on the finish.
PALATE: light body with medium carbonation, pleasantly crisp.
OVERALL: this is a good beer, I would have it again no problem and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.

Helles pours a slightly darker, golden color with a medium-sized, lacing head. The aroma is crisp but has a hint of meat. The flavor is crisp, with notes of smoked meat, and it has a range of sweetness. Very nice feel. Overall, flavorful, strange oversweetness, with some weak meat like flavors, not bad but different.

16 oz taps at the brewery.
L: Pours clear light yellow with a thin white head that becomes edge foam, steady light carbonation, random sticky lacing.
S: Lightly bready, grains, a kiss of hops, hay.
T: All tastes are clean & balanced. Malts are gently sweet with Noble hop notes throughout the finish. Some grains, background honey and white crackery bread.
F: Brisk medium-light bodied with soft middle and a moderately fast & clean finish.
O: Tastes like a premium beer from Germany. Easy to drink, refreshing, fast and light. Fantastic tastes are well balanced. They nailed this one. It is outstanding in its style.

Pours crystal clear straw yellow with a thin white cap that is replenished by effervescing tiny bubbles. Aroma is faint bready and floral hops. Flavor follows the nose, a touch sweet in front. Feel is light and crisp. Overall a fine beer.

Clear golden color. Very mild scent; stinky malt and floral hops. The taste is light and clean, I could and would drink a dozen of these easily. Honey wheat, grass/earth and a hit of peppery hops. The best beer I've had in ages - great for any occasion

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of smooth honey and toasted bread malts. Faint floral aromas. (4.00)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of lightly toasty German bread malts and honey. Authentically Munich and earthy. Hints of floral hops. (4.50)
Feel: Medium-bodied, moderate to strong carbonation. Finish is smooth and pleasant. (4.50)
Overall: A very nice drinking German Helles here from an American brewery. Authentic toasted bread malts and honeysuckle. Lightly floral as expected. A very nice mouthfeel and smooth finish. I could not tell this was made in The States and not in Bavaria. So tasteful and clean. Nothing but good things to say about this beer here and a fantastic job by Utepils. One of the best Helles from The States. (Rating: 4.30)

From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Clear yellow, Ok head.
Smell: Slight fruitiness.
Taste: Moderate sweetness, light breadiness, light feel.
Overall: It's light! But I like my helles lagers on the light side and not the syrupy side. This is a pretty good, easy drinking lager. One of these days I'll have to check out their taproom.

On tap at Stone Arch in the MSP airport so this one is from memory
L: Came in a straw to pale gold color with excellent clarity. The beer came with a finger and a half of fine, white head with pretty good retention leaving a light ringed and spotty lacing as the beer went down.
S: The nose presented malt character in the form of a nice grainy sweetness and light notes of bread, light herbal notes of fresh cut hay, and a light noble hop spice.
T: Followed the nose pretty closely. Upfront there were notes of grain and bread contributing a bit of malty sweetness that was complemented nicely by the hop bill which contributed light notes of fresh cut hay and a nice earthy noble hob spice on the back end and finish.
F: Medium-light body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth with a nice clean finish.
O: A very well done Munich Helles that checks all the boxes. I would love to get a chance to try this one again.
