Draft at Boom City. Hazy golden pour, half finger foamy white head. Light citrusy aroma build into more pronounced citrus in the taste. Tangerine, grapefruit, lemon. Zesty finish lingers.

-Growler to go. Poured within one hour.
A: Standard orange color, an ok haze factor, with some bubbly activity on the surface. that fades rather quickly. No legs.
S: Dank tangerines, some spicy hoppiness, mid level awareness. Not much complexity.
T: Flavor of dull oranges, some bitter citrus. Pretty mono-tone flavor, lacked complexity or bright spots. Some orange peel, citrus flower, with some grainy and powdery malt. Sour dry citrus hop fade.
M: Very light carbonation, grainy and powdery mouthful.
O: Nothing really jumped out at me, had to struggle to identify explanation of taste. I'm guessing this is considered their prime beer? but thought it was very bland, ordinary with no inspiration or reason to even lift the glass for the next sip. At $18 a growler, overpriced and a disappointment. Would settle for a single serving if you want to prove me wrong. Thought their pale ale had more hoppiness and flavor.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of citrus peel and pine. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel start and grapefruit finish. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a good ipa.
