Nice dark color like I expect in a stout. I can detect the slight bourbon smell but it is light. What I really like is how smooth it tastes, does not taste as bitter as their regular milk stout. Hard to believe it is 12% abv because it does not have that strong alcohol bite but after a crowler you know it is strong.
