Pours a deep copper color with a tall tan head with great retention. Smells rich of malts, honey, brown sugar. Taste follows the nose, noticeably sweet. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, nutty, smooth. Not a bad beer for the style. Did taste a bit like aluminum though.

25 ounce crowler stamped brewed on March 9, canned on April 6 (reviewed April 29) poured into a fishbowl at fridge temp 5% ABV. The beer pours an opaque brown color with khaki colored head. The head recedes to a thin ring and island of tiny bubbles. The aroma is mild with a nutty, honey & cocoa mix. The taste is semisweet caramel & cocoa to start with a more nutty and earthy finish. Mild bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, good. Solid beer that held up well on its journey.
